1970 Boss 302 This is an original Z code grabber green (one of 352) Boss 302, This car was delivers virtually w/o options. The only option present was the factory tachometer. It has the flat hood, standard interior, no fold down, AM radio, It is believed to a 52,000 mile car. It has the rear window louvers and magnum 500 wheels added. Engine: It a correct D1ZE block that is not # matching, It has had a complete rebuild 500 miles ago . It has correct heads, intake, distributor, vacuum advance, manifolds, smog, heat shield, air cleaner with working vacuum, rev limiter, The carb is not correct at this time. The engine compartment is nicely detailed. IT needs the battery heat shield and an Autolight battery to be complete for concourse. The interior: The interior is black standard. It has new carpet, seat covers, headliner, and dash pad. It has the correct shifter and t handle with the set screw. The door panels are almost new with no rips or tears. the headliner needs to be adjusted(stretched)and the interior will be perfect.
The Body: The body has had a complete 2 year rotisserie restoration done on it with photo documentation of every step. The floors and 1/4s were replaced. It has the correct rolled front fenders, reinforced shock towers, and stagger rear end. This was not a rebody! correct base coat clear coat grabber green paint was applied along with the correct PPG black texture paint to the hood and trunk. The paint is awesome on this car. The undercarriage: The undercarriage id completely detailed to MCA concourse specs. The third member is painted oxide with all the marks on it. The drive shaft has the inspection stripes on and all of the undercarriage parts are the correct colors. The front sway bar has the stripes. In all of the detail on the bottom side one of the torque boxes was missed and will need some further attention. I drove the car in the rain to move it to my house last week (I had to) and noticed that there was a leak at the top of the front windshield. Th e driver side door also needs a an adjustment in the hinge. It closes a little hard Things that need to be corrected, Carb, windshield leak, driver door adjustment, torque box, battery box heat shield and battery With those items sorted out this car will trophy in any MCA show anywhere. The car is being offered at $34,000 enclosed transport included (40 state US) If the car doesnąt sell we will correct these items , show the car for a season and sell with the MCA medals / trophies at the end of season for $39,000, but wouldn't be more fun for you to go to those shows and win those trophies yourself.
